His friends have learned to love this about him completely. Nobody is annoyed. They simply tuck him in wherever he lands and carry on.

Curious, narcoleptic explorer. Adventurous and wonder-filled — always finds the magic in small things, then falls asleep in the middle of it. Accepted and adored exactly as he is.

Best Friend

Big, gentle, misunderstood. Everyone else is a little wary of him. Quokka thinks he's wonderful. Freezes completely when Quokka falls asleep on him. Has eight eyes and cries at sunsets.

Comic Relief

The loud one. Laughs at everything. Cannot whisper. Gets briefly offended every time Quokka falls asleep mid-conversation — then immediately forgives him.

Deadpan Sage

Slow, sturdy, always mid-tunnel. Finishes Quokka's sentences without missing a beat. Gives excellent advice between shovelfuls of dirt.

Quiet Loyalist

Big ears, hears everything. A little anxious but fiercely loyal. Always the first to grab a leaf to put under Quokka's head when he goes down.

Ancient, calm, rarely seen. Keeps Quokka afloat when he falls asleep swimming. Surfaces occasionally with something important to say — then drifts away.
